Young opened Tiffany and Young, a stationery and fancy goods emporium at 259 Broadway in New York City. Every article was marked with a non-negotiable selling price, a revolutionary policy that made headlines. The first day's sales total was $4.98. Today, the company has over 150 stores and boutiques spanning the globe selling jewelry, watches, silverware, china, crystal, stationary - even perfume.
